Pastor Del’s 40th Birthday Fundraiser! (Missions)

In 2018, the Lord put it on my heart to spend some time in Brazil to minister and develop ministry and leaders. In that, the Lord connected us to an amazing man and woman of God named Nick and Valdi Nunes. Valdi soon became my interpreter and ministry director in Brazil. We mostly developed ministry inn her home town of Soledade, and later in Florianopolis. Our relationship with this beautiful couple has since developed. I felt a call on this couple to move to America for a time of development and further education. As we were making plans for this, we all know that COVID came in and changed a lot of our plans. So though our plans are still sure, the timeline and lack of funding has made this process slightly more difficult. And here’s where I’m asking for your help.

The goal is for Nick and Valdi to move here to be with our Collide family here in California and then back to Brazil to develop ministry that will bless the nation. While in the Bay Area, we expect this to be a time where they will be an instrumental part of our church as they develop both their spiritual and practical skills for church and ministry leadership. But until then, they’ve taken a huge step of faith and moved from Brazil to Florida, where they were able to secure work until we are able to assist them in moving to California.

Because of funding, their journey has been difficult. I am prayerfully asking you to make a donation commitment, where 100% of what you donate will go to blessing this couple and their two children (infant and toddler) with travel, educational, and monthly expenses.
