Biblicality

“He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.”
Deuteronomy 8:3

In a generation of relative truth, Collide City Church loudly proclaims that there is an absolute truth, and that absolute truth is found in the Word of God.

We believe in a God who speaks, and that His words are truth and life. That’s why we hold the Holy Scriptures so close to our heart at Collide City Church, because the Bible is how God has chosen to show us who He is, to reveal His heart, and to tell His own story. The Bible is the book we live with, the book we live by, and the book we want to die by. Although Spirit-filled Christians have sometimes been known to take the Bible lightly, the truth is that it’s because we are a Spirit-filled, presence-driven people that we love the Word of God so much.

As a presence-driven community, we seek to hear God’s voice in all we do, and Scripture is God’s language. We believe that as Christ-followers know the Bible more deeply and more intimately, they are able to discern the voice of God more clearly as He leads.
